A Cottage Guest House Designed for Gathering
Our clients came to us with a beautiful blank canvas and a vision: create more space to enjoy the outdoors while adding a private extension of their home where family and friends could comfortably stay.
They love to host, so this project was about more than building a guest house. It was about creating a place that felt like a retreat—welcoming, relaxed and connected to the property around it.
Set into an already serene landscape, Fireside was designed as a cottage-style guest house that feels naturally at home within its surroundings. The space gives overnight guests a place of their own while keeping them close to the heart of the main home and everything happening outside.
Every part of the project was considered around how the family actually lives: long visits, evenings spent outdoors, weekends with friends and a little more room for everyone to settle in and stay awhile.
The result is a peaceful extension of home built for hospitality, connection and the simple luxury of having the people you love close by.
